Can you believe that this is the last month of the decade? We will be entering into the year 2020--hopefully, wit

h 20/20 vision of our future. What do you plan to focus on? For me, I will be focusing on The Art of Transition.

In order to transition into something new, we must pay attention to the new wellness trends. You may not have the time or energy to follow each trend, but staying aware is always helpful. You never know what may be beneficial for your future.

Telemedicine is the practice of caring for patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other. If you find that you are physically unable to get to a physician, some simple ailments may qualify for telemedicine treatment. Look on the back of your insurance card for a phone number to help get you connected. Doctor on Demand is one of the most popular services out there.

Basically, it means what it says. Wellness travel can mean staying well while you travel and even traveling to stay well. However you take it, it is all the rave!!! Many hotels are now directing their efforts at making travel an entire wellness experience. In fact, wellness travel is one of the fastest growing trends in tourism.

Behavioral health disorders affect nearly 1 in every 5 Americans, and the impact is community-wide. With a shortage of mental healthcare providers, managing this population will likely become increasingly more difficult. Hopefully, utilizing telemedicine will help alleviate the shortage. It is important to take note of how your emotions are changing and affecting your life and others.
