Over the past several months, I have been working as a "Traveling Physician" in California. Many people that I know are not in the medical field and had no idea that there was such a thing. I wasn't even aware of this career path in medicine until I had been practicing for a few years. After practicing for 10 years, I must say that this was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Balance remains a key factor in my life, and I feel as though I am getting the perfect amount of practice in medicine and practice in self-care.
